    • One or more of the components being installed are already registered as 64 bit components in the target application. You must install the 32 bit versions of the components being installed in a different COM+ application, or delete the existing 64 bit versions of the components being installed from the target COM+ application prior to attempting install of the 32 bit versions. COM+ applications cannot contain bit neutral components.
    • FATAL: Could not find component ‘Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Tasks.MessageQueueTask.ServCompMQTask’ we just installed.

Solution

Using Component Services, Remove  Microsoft.SqlServer.MSMQTask

Data Academy – SQL Reinstall msmqtask.dll

If you reinstall SQL you might get an error with microsoft.sqlserver.msmqtask.dll (or if you’re installing 2005 after uninstalling 2000).
This is an issue when Microsoft.SqlServer.MSMQTask is left behind in COM+ catalog. You can workaround it by:
  1. Open Administrative Tools\Component Services
  2. Go to Component Services\Computers\My Computer\COM+ Applications
  3. Delete Microsoft.SqlServer.MSMQTask

Using Regsvcs, Uninstall msmsqtask.dll
